Introduction to coding

This course provides an introduction to computer science via the Code.org curriculum and leverages a user-friendly graphical programming language catering to students being introduced to programming.

Video Game Design

This is a two part project-based course. Part one is designed to provide technical proficiency in industry standard animation and game design software resulting in a portfolio of games. Students will gain exposure to artificial intelligence, augmented & virtual reality as well as advanced physics and math concepts. Part two focuses on preparing for certifications in key software used for students seeking additional employment credentials.

Web Development

This project-based course guides students through a sequence of website and web application creation using industry standard tools, design concepts and programming languages. Successful students will have a solid foundation from which to enter an intensive coding boot camp, build websites and apps as an entrepreneur or leverage on college applications.

Information Technology Careers

This course covers computer hardware and software topics as laid out in the industry standard CompTIA A+ certification curriculum. It includes classroom and laboratory components. Upon completion, students are prepared to take the A+ certification exam. Successful students will be highly employable as an IT Helpdesk or Jr. Systems Administrator.
